Julia Smith

Julia is an Associate in our Commercial team. She acts for clients across our core sectors including tech, life sciences, and media and entertainment.

She is based in London and advises on a broad range of commercial matters, including commercial contracts, data protection, IP, consumer legislation and digital regulation. She also supports on coordinating advice from overseas jurisdictions as part of large, multi-jurisdictional projects.

Julia joined Osborne Clarke as a Trainee in September 2022 and qualified as a Solicitor in September 2024. She spent six months on secondment at a leading gaming and entertainment brand, assisting with a broad range of matters, including negotiating IP licenses and advising on marketing law. She has also spent time on secondment at a leading social media platform.
