Jo is an Associate Director in our Band 1 Real Estate team, and advises investors and developers on a broad range of real estate transactions.  She has expertise in managing forward and development funding acquisition transactions on both the developer and funder sides, as well as leading and managing large scale portfolio acquisitions and disposals.  Jo also supports our clients in effective management of their real estate portfolios, by working closely with the wider asset management team to progress, resolve and document asset management transactions.

Her clients range from regulated pension funds and REITs to development companies and student accommodation providers.  She is experienced across a broad spectrum of asset classes, but with a particular focus on logistics and operational living.  Jo has worked with a number of her clients since she joined Osborne Clarke in 2008.

Whitehill and Bordon Regeneration Company (a joint venture between Taylor Wimpey and Dorchester Group)

Regeneration of former army barracks to create the new town centre, which will include up to 23,000m2 of new shops, cafes and office space, a 'maker's market', including business space, a community hub and heritage centre, as well as a new leisure centre, supermarket, a public realm and health hub, plus up to 2,400 new dwellings.

Pictet Alternative Advisors and Marchmont Investment Management

Advised on £75m forward commitment disposal to NFU Mutual of 235,000 sq ft of industrial space in Crawley. 

CBRE Investment Management

Forward commitment purchases for the acquisition and development of a number of sites, including industrial units in Leeds, a large hotel in Newcastle and industrial units in Speke.

The acquisition and disposal of a commercial and residential mixed use asset in Fulham, including advice on securing vacant possession and recovery of costs via a residential service charge alongside our specialist team.

The acquisition and multi-phase development of landmark Finzel's Reach site (4.7 acre) in Bristol, comprising 400 apartments, 300,000 sq ft of office and 87,000 sq ft of leisure as well as a hotel and significant public realm.
