Jann advises national and international clients on complex plant construction projects.
In addition to advising on general contract and commercial law, Jann supports our clients in the area of product compliance. One focus is on European product safety and product liability law, in particular CE conformity and the handling of product recalls.
Jann is co-author of journal articles on current developments in European machine safety and practical guides with sample contracts for mechanical and plant engineering.
He holds a degree in law from the University of Hamburg Law School, specializing in commercial and corporate law. He completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Celle, including positions at a leading corporate law firm in Hamburg and a major US law firm in Chicago.
Jann has been working in Osborne Clarke's Hamburg office in the Commercial practice group since January 2024.

Regulation at the European level is currently undergoing fundamental change. The use of new technologies brings both opportunities and challenges from a legal perspective.
I am particularly interested in supporting businesses in their digital transformation, helping them to maintain an oversight of the legal framework and mitigate liability risks.
