Jacob Bray

Jacob leads Osborne Clarke's client origination activities, working with management teams and business owners as they build towards taking external investment (typically for the first time) or an eventual sale.

He works alongside the firm's Corporate lawyers, focusing primarily, but not exclusively, on companies within the technology, media and telecoms sectors.

Graduating with a law degree, Jacob fell into a career in Business Development and took a circuitous route to life in a law firm. He joined Osborne Clarke from another major UK legal practice, where he led on origination activities, but started his career in M&A at a financial advisory firm where he was part of a strategic initiative focused on privately-owned companies (family-owned, Private Equity backed and owner-managed) in the mid-market.
