Ian is the international sector leader for The Built Environment. He advises institutional investors and developers across Logistics, Living and Regeneration including acquisitions, disposals, forward funding, forward commitment, asset management, ground rent, income strip investments, options and development agreements.
Ian leads our relationships with several international and significant domestic investors. He and his team are recognised as leading lawyers in the Living and Logistics markets, unmatched in experience – particularly regarding life sciences, care and senior living, offices, hotels, and student accommodation.
As such, Ian and his team have transacted over £1BN of logistics deals for CBRE Investment Managers, St Modwen and Warehouse REIT. He acts for CBRE Investment Management, DTZ Investors, Swiss Life, Wildstone Capital and Warehouse REIT.
Ian qualified at Osborne Clarke in 1997 and has been a Partner since 2006. He has been a member of Osborne Clarke's Partnership Council, holds chair positions on the Bristol Harbourside Forum and is a board member of charities the Underfall Yard Trust and St Stephens Ecclesiastical.
