Greg is a Senior Associate in our Commercial team. He advises on advertising, marketing, consumer and food law, both from a regulatory and transactional perspective.
Greg's transactional practice involves advising on a broad range of agreements such as sponsorship agreements, collaboration agreements, influencer agreements, digital marketing agreements and media buying agreements. Greg regularly advises marketing agencies in relation to their agreements with their clients.
On the regulatory side, he advises on consumer and advertising regulatory compliance issues. This often includes advising on issues in connection with consumer protection, prize promotions, e-commerce, greenwashing and copy clearance. Greg also has experience helping clients in relation to complaints made under advertising and food regulation, including liaising with regulatory bodies such as the Advertising Standards Authority.
Greg also advises on food regulation, including advising on health and nutrition claims, HFSS regulations and food labelling.
Much of his work is for retail and consumer and food and drink clients but he also advises clients in other sectors such as technology and media.
Before joining Osborne Clarke in 2021, Greg spent a year on secondment as UK Legal Counsel for a major alcoholic drinks manufacturer. During this time Greg advised on a number of projects including the launch of an e-commerce sales platform and high profile sponsorship and supply deals for major sports events and festivals.
