Ethan is an Associate in the IP Disputes team. He advises clients on a range of IP matters, including patent litigation, brand enforcement and copyright advice.
Ethan has a background in technical patent disputes, acting for clients in the pharmaceutical and telecoms industries.
Recently, Ethan has been involved in a complex domain name dispute for four Retail and Consumer clients in administration. Ethan was the lead IP Associate advising on a successful interim injunction application to retrieve domains which were crucial to the disposal of the businesses.
Ethan's experience also includes trade mark and design right enforcement for a multinational consumer goods company and passing off disputes for a leading dairy products company.
Ethan joined Osborne Clarke LLP in September 2020 following the completion of a training contract Hogan Lovells.
Ethan is a member of IPSoc, the society dedicated to junior IP practitioners.
