Emma has a great depth of experience in advising across the full spectrum of employment law matters, whether advisory, litigation (including post-termination restrictions), or transaction-related.

She has years of both private practice and in-house experience, gaining a fantastic grounding in business and taking a pragmatic and commercial approach to her legal practice. As well as the usual range of advisory matters and tribunal litigation, Emma has advised in relation to large-scale acquisitions and TUPE, insolvency acquisitions, global policy implementation, employee investigations and post-termination restriction enforcement.

For several years, Emma worked in senior transformation roles outside of legal at Vodafone and Three, including in cost transformation, organisational change, and planning for merger between large telecoms companies. This experience has given her an all-round perspective on how to effect change successfully and its impact on people as well as the role of a legal advisor within that. She has many years of sector expertise advising in technology, telecoms, retail and customer service industries.

Helping you succeed in tomorrow's world

I've had some excellent and varied commercial experience and the time I've spent working in transformation roles has given me a different and fresh perspective to bring to my legal practice. As a customer of legal advice myself (when working inhouse), I'm fully aware of the need for not just pragmatic and practical advice, but advice that is grounded in the client's business context.
