Emily is a Senior Associate in Osborne Clarke's commercial team and focuses on AI, IT and IP contracts, and digital regulation.
Emily was recognised as a "Leading Associate" in Artificial Intelligence in the 2024 Legal 500 rankings.
She advises clients on a broad range of commercial and technology matters. Her areas of expertise include:
- Artificial Intelligence: As part of Osborne Clarke's international artificial intelligence team, Emily provides strategic advice on the development, procurement and deployment of AI tools, including the creation of governance and risk management systems. She also has extensive experience advising on the EU Artificial Intelligence Act.
- IT and outsourcing contracts: Emily has experience advising client on all commercial contracts, but has a particular focus on contracts with an IT and IP angle.
- Digital regulation: Emily has specific expertise in advising clients looking to develop, launch and operating consumer-facing digital products and services across multiple jurisdictions. She also supports clients to engage with governments on new regulations, including the UK Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act.
Emily joined Osborne Clarke in June 2022. She qualified in December 2018.
