Dr Carsten Brodersen advises both national and international companies on matters of IT and copyright law.

Carsten mainly advises clients in Tech, Media and Comms, as well as Mobility and Infrastructure sectors on all matters related to information technology and copyright law, with a special focus on technology contracts, artificial intelligence, open-source software, and IT-related aspects of transactions.

Carsten studied law in Bonn, Münster and Budapest. During his PhD in constitutional law, he worked for a leading German law firm in the areas of copyright and IT law, including data protection. Throughout his legal clerkship, Carsten worked for a leading international law firm in the area of copyright law and also for a venture capital oriented law boutique in the areas of copyright and IT law, including data protection.

Parallel to his legal education, he also gained experience in the field of web development.
