Dirk Ostrop

Dirk Ostrop advises national and international clients from various sectors in civil and commercial disputes ranging from state court proceedings to international arbitration.

Dirk mainly focusses on representing clients throughout all phases of a proceeding, starting in the pre-litigation phase all the way through to enforcement of judgements and awards.

He joined Osborne Clarke’s Dispute and Risk Practice Group in Hamburg in January 2023.

Dirk studied law at the University of Osnabrück and completed his legal traineeship at the higher regional court Oldenburg. As a trainee, Dirk worked for several international law firms, specialising in litigation and arbitration. Particularly noteworthy is his position in the Hong Kong office of a commercial arbitration law firm.
