Beata advises national and international companies in all areas of IT law. A particular focus lies on advising on software licensing models and in the area of open source software compliance.
Beata provides cross-industry advice with a focus on companies in the retail and software development sectors. In addition to dealing with software-specific issues of IT contract law, copyright law and data protection law, she also provides legal support to companies digitalizing their products. Furthermore, she assists in the development of a legal-tech solution in the area of open source software compliance.
Beata studied law in Frankfurt (an der Oder), Poznan and Montpellier. During her studies, she worked in a FinTech start-up and built up the legal department there. During her legal clerkship she worked for the Data Protection Authority of Berlin and for an IT-law oriented law boutique. Parallel to her legal training, she also gained experience in the field of web development and worked as a freelance translator and interpreter for several years.
