Amber Bains

Amber is an Associate in Osborne Clarke's Projects team, specialising in commercial and regulatory advice to clients in the renewable and low-carbon energy sectors.

She works at the forefront of the energy market with generators, offtakers and suppliers, innovative market access providers, commercial energy customers, developers and early stage funders. She advises clients on matters including:

• power offtake and supply
• route to market arrangements and PPAs (including virtual and sleeved arrangements)
• generation
• asset optimisation
• grid connections and stability
• electric vehicles
• energy regulation (including licensing and capacity market arrangements)
• broader energy transactions and deal execution.

Amber publishes the Energy Transition, a weekly regulatory and market update across the energy sector, focusing on decarbonisation, innovation, EVs and regulatory change.

Amber has spent time on secondment at a leading energy company and is a member of our firm's Energy Regulatory Advisory and Decarbonisation teams.
