Alfred is a Legal Director in the commercial disputes team with experience of a broad range of domestic and international disputes.
He regularly advises on complex technical disputes involving contract scope, construction and interpretation, as well as shareholder and company disputes. Many of these disputes have involved an international element and he frequently advises on associated issues of jurisdiction and procedure.
In particular, he regularly assists staffing and labour outsourcing companies with how to manage their risks and protect their business. His work in this sector includes high value high court litigation, appeals in the employment tribunal and regulatory investigations.
Alfred also advises on disputes in the renewables sector, especially investment disputes that arise from the project structure and asset management disputes.
He has experience of many forms of dispute resolution, including mediation, domestic and international arbitration, and adjudication.
