Experienced global mobility specialist, specialising in UK inbound immigration for fast growth corporates and high net worth individuals. With over 15 years' experience in advising clients on all aspects of UK and global migration matters.
As a member of the specialist immigration team, part of the employment service line, Adam focuses on assisting clients with their global staff mobility needs. This includes clients varying from fast growth tech start-ups to larger, established corporates with their global mobility strategy and management.
With a particular focus on Decarbonisation and technology, Adam is specifically involved where the two cross over, assisting clients with a tech driven approach to decarbonisation issues. In addition, he is regularly instructed to assist on multi service line, multi-jurisdictional issues, where clients require complex cross border project management.
Aside from assisting corporate clients, Adam also has a particular expertise in assisting high net worth individuals with their UK relocation, where careful planning and coordination with our Private Client team is essential.
Helping you succeed in tomorrow's world
As I have a keen interest in Decarbonisation as well as technology, I specialise in assisting clients with recruitment of the best talent needed to help them achieve their net-zero goals as without the right people driving this change, the goals clients seek to achieve will not be met. This has included developing a client specific International Mobility Platform with OCS for our key clients to help them manage their specific mobility projects, remain compliant with the ever changing rules as well as access up to date knowledge on relevant immigration and mobility topics.
Whilst many may see the movement of people as counterintuitive to decarbonisation, in this 'new world' of work and increased digital globalisation it is even more important than ever for clients to receive support and guidance with their mobility requirements. I am therefore involved in our Future of Work programme, helping clients best plan not just for the immediate future, but to help them plan for their long term mobility needs. It is no longer the case that clients require simple immigration support, but often involves working with several other service lines to advise appropriately. For example, many businesses are not aware of the full implications of their agile working policies, especially when it involves flexibility to work overseas and I specialise in assisting clients with these complex considerations.
Having come from a legal aid contracted firm prior to joining OC, I remain a supporter of access to justice for all and often seek to utilise the skills learned to help pro-bono clients who simply cannot afford proper legal representation and have no other access to representation. Outside of work, I also remain a passionate believer in social inclusion, and am a Director of two Community Interest Company's with a focus on local community engagement and inclusion as well as Chair of my local Parish Council.
