During the last two years, Osborne Clarke has committed £100k to RollOnMonday, a social mobility initiative set up by RollOnFriday and homeless charity St. Mungo's offering work placements to vulnerable adults.
Since the launch of the programme, Osborne Clarke has also worked with a number of individuals providing them with work experience and mentoring, to enable them to go on to secure permanent roles, either at Osborne Clarke or with other firms. Osborne Clarke also ran several pre-placement workshops with volunteers from the firm. This gave people the opportunity to visit a large organisation, meet the staff and gain skills to improve their employability. Thirty-eight percent of all the placement holders are now in sustained employment of six months or more as a result of getting high-quality and most importantly, recent experience on their CV.
