Meet our three new location charities
Osborne Clarke UK supports three charities local to our UK office locations each year.
The charities are put forward and voted on by OC colleagues , and the chosen charities will partner with the firm for 12-18 months The charity partners up to April 2023 are:
Gympanzees
A Bristol-based charity which provides play, exercise and friendship opportunities to people with disabilities and their families. Osborne Clarke's funds will contribute towards establishing the country's first fully inclusive leisure facility, catering for 60,000 disabled children and young people living within an hour of Bristol.
The Childhood Trust
A child poverty charity, works to alleviate the impact of poverty on young people living in London. Osborne Clarke's involvement will provide important funds for covering the charity's core operation costs and supporting grassroots projects including the renovation of key spaces.
Rosie's Rainbow Fund
A Reading based charity supporting sick and disabled children in hospital, school and in the community. Osborne Clarke's donations will contribute to funding a weekend family retreat for six to ten sick children and their families to give the families some much needed respite.
Charity committees in each location have launched a fundraising calendar with activities across the year, including the OC Olympics, sweepstakes and a Queen's Jubilee bake sale, to raise funds and support the important work of our charities. The amounts raised are then supplemented with donations from the OC Charitable Trust.
