Description
YOUR TASKS:
- Advisory in the field of: intellectual property (copyright law, trademark law, industrial design law, patent law), combating unfair competition, and product law for clients in the sectors of: Life Sciences, Technology, Interactive Entertainment, Retail & FMCG, Luxury Goods.
- Participation in contentious and judicial proceedings concerning intellectual property law (intellectual property courts, European Union Intellectual Property Office, Patent Office of the Republic of Poland).
- Involvement in due diligence research in the field of IP and transactions in the Tech/Life Sciences areas.
- Preparation of legal documentation.
- Drafting of legal opinions and analyses, as well as contract drafts.
- Assistance with the registration of EU and national industrial property rights and management of trademark portfolios.
- Participation in legal research of RES projects, including for transaction and financing purposes;
- Assisting in the preparation and review of transaction documentation (M&A and project financing);
- Preparation of draft opinions and memoranda in the field of energy law;
- Preparation of legal analyses and research;
- Monitoring of legal developments in the energy sector.
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
- Keen interest in intellectual property law and a desire to develop expertise in this field.
- Professional experience in an IP/Life Sciences department.
- A law degree.
- Completion of at least the first year of attorney-at-law, advocate, or patent attorney training.
- Excellent command of English (minimum C1 level) with confidence in working in this language.
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal information systems such as LEX or Legalis.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly adapt to a team and working environment.
- Commitment to delivering the highest quality of work, building positive relationships, and taking responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Additional asset: enrollment in a PhD program or an LL.M. in intellectual property law.
- Advantageous experience in intermediary liability, unfair competition protection, personal rights protection, or litigation.
