Dr Ulrike Bär advises on all issues concerning national and international tax law. She advises clients in particular in the health care/life sciences and tech, media and comms sector.
Her focus is on M&A transactions, corporate restructurings and the tax optimization of cross-border investments. She also supports clients in tax audits and with respect to tax compliance.
Matters Ulrike advised on include all kinds of tax issues in particular regarding research and technology businesses and funds as well as the public sector.
Ulrike started her career at the fiscal administration of NRW. After her studies of law in Bonn and London with a focus on tax she was admitted to the bar in 2003 and worked for an international law firm until she joined the tax team of Osborne Clarke in 2016.
She obtained a Master of Laws in 2004 (London) and a PhD dealing with transfer pricing in 2008 (University of Cologne).
