International legal practice Osborne Clarke has appointed Tamara Quinn, a non-contentious intellectual property (IP) and data protection Partner, to its London commercial team.

Dual-qualified as a solicitor and a barrister, Tamara has more than 20 years’ experience in IP and, in the last four years, has also become a data protection specialist. Prior to joining Osborne Clarke, Tamara headed up Berwin Leighton Paisner’s IP practice.

Tamara has deep technical skills and advises on the full range of non-contentious IP. She brings wide-ranging experience in the protection, use and licensing of all types of IP rights, as well as data privacy advisory matters, including data-mapping and audits, data contracts and intra-group data use, and GDPR compliance.

John Buyers, Commercial Partner at Osborne Clarke, commented: “Tamara is great match for Osborne Clarke and will add strength and depth to our team. Not only is she a highly regarded IP practitioner, but she is also a specialist in data protection, which is particularly important to a number of our clients and prospects that have been and continue to be impacted by the GDPR.”
