Osborne Clarke advised Itelyum Regeneration S.r.l., part of the Itelyum group, worldwide leader in the circular economy and in particular in the regeneration of used lubricating oils, the production of pure solvents and those from chemical waste, as well as the provision of environmental services for industry, in its purchase of 70% of the capital of Castiglia S.r.l., a company providing integrated services for environmental protection and sustainability with a particular focus on the management of waste deriving from water purification processes.
Osborne Clarke’s team was led by partners Giovanni Penzo (M&A) and Giorgio Lezzi (public law), who coordinated a multidisciplinary team with Ludovica Venafro, Carolina Scolari and Matteo Tracanella on corporate matters, Angelo Maria Quintieri, Giulia Bonzini and Carlo Gioffrè on administrative and environmental matters, and Angelo Molinaro for the antitrust aspects of the transaction.
Managing director Marco Codognola, head of business development and M&A Francesco Mezzina and general counsel Laura Zanin followed the transaction on the part of the Itelyum Group.
