Acque Bresciane S.r.l., which is in charge of the integrated water services within the territory of the Province of Brescia, in the ambit of its planned Euro 1 billion investment within 2045, has entered into a financing agreement aimed at bringing together corporate expansion and sustainability of tariffs with a pool of banks, coordinated by Intesa Sanpaolo and composed of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas, Banco BPM, BPER and Iccrea Banca.

The financing, with an overall value of Euro 202 million, provides for Euro 95 million by way of a Green Loan, a form of credit that allows the financing of projects having a positive environmental impact which, at the same time, results in savings in terms of interest for the fully state-owned company, and therefore for the population.

Acque Bresciane S.r.l. was advised by Osborne Clarke, which, in the completion of the financing agreement, was led by partner Andrea Pinto, with associate Laura Cipollone, while partner Giovanni Penzo advised on the initial due diligence and the review of all financial documentation up to the signature and disbursement of the loan; partner Giorgio Lezzi, advised the company on all aspects of the public procedure for the selection of the lenders.

The pool of lenders was advised by Legance Avvocati Associati.
