Other deals in the last two months include German staffing and consultancy company Allgeier’s acquisition of Networker (led by Philip Meichssner), the sale of Conduit to JSA (led by James Massy-Collier) and Rethink’s acquisition of Consort (led by Andrew Saul and Matthew Bodfield). The Rethink deal followed advice from Osborne Clarke on its delisting in December 2014 and a funding round from Business Growth Fund, itself an interesting sign of confidence in the sector.

Deals currently being negotiated include two major international joint venture deals, an acquisition by a global staffing company in Asia and substantial investments into two UK staffing companies by institutional investors.

Specialist workforce solutions partner Kevin Barrow comments:
“It’s good to see the appetite for investment in the sector – recruitment and staffing companies have worked hard through a difficult period and we’re pleased to help them achieve such positive outcomes now that the market seems to be turning”.
