Integral Ad Science (IAS), a Nasdaq-listed US company and market leader in media classification and contextual targeting, has announced the acquisition of Context, a Paris-based digital content classification company. Context’s artificial intelligence (AI) driven technology provides image and video classification across various digital media including social media platforms and connected TV (CTV).
The integration of Context’s technology will enable IAS’s marketing partners to identify brand suitable content beyond standard frameworks and contextually target with granularity.

More globally, this acquisition significantly strengthens IAS’ teams of engineers, scientists and data analysts located in France and Poland, and is in line with its ambition to be a major global innovation player.

Osborne Clarke's Paris office advised the purchaser with a cross-practice team comprising Catherine Olive, partner, Julie Dahan, Anaël Hadji, Igor Crépy and Nafissatou Diop on corporate aspects; Claire Bouchenard, partner, Gaspard Debiesse, Alix Taverne and Alice Vigne on IP/IT/Data and Maxime Pigeon, partner, Conrado Crespi and Camille Sans on employment law aspects.

Orrick advised the sellers with Benjamin Cichostepski-Lesage, partner and Olivier Jouffroy, partner.
