Matthew specialises in advising clients on matters relating to information technology and data protection, with a particular interest in FinTech.

Matthew has extensive experience of advising clients in relation to new and emerging technologies, and has particular expertise helping clients to license, use and commercialise IT hardware (including data centres and supercomputing systems), IT platforms, SaaS and cloud solutions. He specialises in advising in relation to transformational technology projects, including the procurement or deployment of new technology and the use of cloud-based computing solutions.

Matthew's clients sit primarily in the technology and financial services sectors, and he advises clients regularly on the intersection of both.

He has undertaken secondments at two of Osborne Clarke's major technology provider clients, so he is used to working closely with IT and business teams and has a detailed understanding of the issues currently faced by tech and data-focused businesses.

Helping you succeed in tomorrow's world

I am passionate about new technologies that can make a real difference to people's lives and thrive on helping clients to realise the full value from transformational technology projects that do just that.
