Annabel Lehnen advises international and national companies in relation to strategic employment law issues. She focuses on providing long-term legal guidance for HR departments, in particular on collective employment law such as drafting collective agreements (i.e. Security Policies), HR change or downsizing measures and Post Merger integration processes but also with regard to creating contracts with a view to employer branding and compliance topics and in relation to complicated individual matters.
Annabel advises international companies on constructing employment law structures in the context of setting-up new locations in Germany or professionalizing their HR departments including the implementation of employment matrix structures. She also provides advice to managing directors and management boards.
Annabel studied in Passau and has practised with the Bayer Group in Paris, Barcelona, and Manchester. She qualified as a lawyer in 1996, as a specialist in employment law in 2001, and became a partner in Osborne Clarke in 2008. She worked for a well-known commercial law firm in Düsseldorf before joining Osborne Clarke in 2001.
She is a regular speaker at events from German HR Associations on current employment law issues. She also publishes regularly and is co-author of a legal reference book about Working Time Models.
