Osborne Clarke, future focused international legal practice, will be attending SMAU, Italy's leading event on innovation and start-ups, to discuss the legal risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in businesses.
AI is revolutionising the world of work by opening up new opportunities but also new risks, which must be anticipated and carefully managed to limit corporate liability. The most hotly debated issues at present are the ethical and responsible use of these tools, the violation of third-party rights and the ownership of content created with AI, however there are certainly other possible critical issues for consideration.
Gianluigi Marino, Head of Digitalisation at Osborne Clarke in Italy, and Antonio Racano, Associate, will speak on this topic during a dedicated workshop, which will attempt to answer the following questions: what are the legal risks that an Italian company introducing AI tools runs, and what are the main actions that, if implemented in time, can help prevent or mitigate the risks associated with the use of AI tools?
