Lloyd joined Osborne Clarke in October 2000 upon qualification and deals with a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment law issues including all types of employment tribunal claims, day-to-day workplace issues, handling dismissals and collective redundancies, drafting service agreements, contracts and policies, support in corporate transactions and data protection matters.

Lloyd has a particular interest in business immigration issues and regularly advises UK clients on recruiting overseas staff and overseas clients on starting up in the UK and transferring their staff here.

Having been on secondment to two clients' in-house legal teams Lloyd has come to appreciate the level of service that clients expect of their external lawyers and the value they place on practical and timely commercial advice.  He initially spent six months in the legal department of Xerox Inc.'s UK and European Headquarters and most recently he acted as BG Group plc's sole in-house employment lawyer for a total of 18 months.
